Iron removal stations

PURPOSE: Degassing and water purification from iron, manganese, suspended particles. Removal of gases and oxygenation of water. Suitable for industrial and utility companies, budget organizations. Iron removal and degassing of drinking and process water.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION: The filter works on the principle of a contact tank, where the process of oxidation of iron Fe2 dissolved in water to insoluble Fe3 takes place on granules of a modified floating load.
The process of removing dissolved gases from water and saturating it with oxygen takes place in an aerator-degasser. The degasser is equipped with air supply windows and a water spray. In the upper part, the aerator is equipped with a cover through which maintenance or repairs are carried out. After saturation with oxygen, water is uniformly supplied to the lower part, where it is evenly distributed over the filter cross section through the hydraulic seal pipes. Then, it rises up and passes through a modified floating loading, where iron removal takes place. Purified water through the intake pipe enters the storage tank, from where it is fed to the water supply network.
